Overview We are seeking a n Operating Room Technician , sometimes referred to a s a Surgical Techn ician , CSFA, Surgical Tech, or Scrub Tech . An OR Tech will prepar e , maintain , and assist in the operating room (OR) to ensure surgeries run smoothly and safely , including management surgical instruments . You will be part of the surgical team, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to create a safe and efficient environment for surgery , helping surgeries proceed smoothly. You must have:  EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) certification required. 2. Successful completion of a training program in a recognized First Assistant program. 3. Six months experience in an acute care operating room as a CSFA fulltime required and/or proficiency in endoscopic saphenous vein harvesting. • Must be proficient in the following specialties: Major Vascular, Thoracic, Open Heart, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, General 4. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider affirmation by American Heart Association. 5. Basic computer skills.
