Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up surgical instruments, sterile drapes and necessary supplies. Ensure all equipment is functional and properly sterilized before procedure. Assist the surgical team during operations, including passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field. Count sponges, needles and intruments before and after procedures to ensure accuracy. Handle specimens in an appropriate fashion. Help transfer patients to and from the operating room. Clean and restock the OR following surgeries. Comply with infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
