The Supervisor, Surgical Services oversees daily operations of the Surgery and Central Sterile departments to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. This role involves coordinating surgical schedules, supervising clinical and non-clinical staff, and managing resources effectively. The Supervisor collaborates with surgeons, nursing staff, and leadership to optimize workflows, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and support the professional development of team members. This position serves as a resource and provides leadership in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director of Surgical Services.

Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in perioperative or surgical services required 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory position in the Operating Room preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong clinical knowledge of surgical services, including workflows, equipment, and infection prevention protocols. Effective leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and develop staff and maintain positive team dynamics. Proficiency in coordinating surgical schedules and managing operational resources. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with physicians, staff, and leadership. Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards applicable to surgical services. Analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational and patient care challenges.Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required BCLS - Basic Life Support required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required CNOR - Certified Operating Room Nurse preferred
