The Surgical Regional Manager leads all sales activities for surgical technologies within a designated geographic region. This role is responsible for directing, motivating, and supporting sales representatives to achieve business objectives. Knowledge & Experience + Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. + Minimum 5–7 years of relevant medical sales experience, with prior management experience. + Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, sales processes, and budget management. + Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a medical device or healthcare environment. + Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable vehicle for work-related travel. + Willingness to travel overnight up to 2-3 nights per week. Skills + Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. + Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams. + Skilled in forecasting, territory planning, and business strategy development. + Proficient in organizational and time management skills. + Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities + Direct staffing, training, coaching, and performance evaluations for sales representatives. + Develop and execute district business plans and strategies to achieve sales goals. + Accurately forecast quarterly sales and monitor expenditures to ensure adherence to budget. + Collaborate with marketing to drive customer demand and promote products. + Represent Hologic at trade association meetings and industry events. + Support sales specialists and drive direct sales of Hologic’s product lines. + Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulations. Compensation + Total compensation range: $270,000–$350,000 (base salary + commission). + Final package based on experience, skills, territory, education, market demand, and performance.
