Responsibilities Makes and schedules appointment for procedures and surgeries for patients in an efficient and timely manner. Verifies and pre-certifies insurance coverage for surgical procedures. Coordinates day surgeries within main surgery department. Maintain productivity logs for department director. Qualifications Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Computer experience (Excel/Word) required Preferred Job Requirements Two to Three years of work experience in a medical office setting preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical scheduling preferred
