Job Summary
The Surgery Scheduler - Clinics is responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures for patients in a clinical setting. This role ensures accuracy in scheduling, proper documentation, and effective communication between patients, providers, and surgical teams. The Surgery Scheduler plays a vital role in ensuring an efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications
Associate Degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred 1-3 years of experience in medical scheduling, surgical coordination, or a related administrative role required Experience in a clinical or hospital surgical scheduling environment preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of surgical scheduling processes and medical terminology. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage complex schedules. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, providers, and surgical teams. Ability to handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in scheduling and documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative tools. Commitment to providing high-quality customer service and patient support.
