Surgery Scheduler

Location: On-site in Austin, TX

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Surgery Scheduler to join our team in Austin! This role is essential in coordinating surgical procedures and ensuring a smooth experience for patients and providers.

Responsibilities:

Schedule surgeries and pre/post-operative appointmentsCoordinate with physicians, surgical centers, and insurance providersVerify patient information and obtain necessary authorizationsMaintain accurate records and documentationCommunicate effectively with patients regarding instructions and scheduling

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in surgery scheduling Extensive experience with insurance verificationStrong organizational and communication skillsHigh school diploma required; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
