(Increases with tenure) + 7 paid holidays + 2 floating holidays **Duties:** + Triages orders based on scheduling criteria provided by the physician + Verifies necessity of insurance authorization or pre-determination based on cpt codes provided by physician + Ensures patient has proper medical clearance prior to procedure in collaboration with clinical team + Coordinate appointment with facility and fax orders with appropriate medical records + Schedule appointment in EMR + Completes accurate documentation of all scheduling notes in EMR + Provide information to patient regarding any specific instructions before testing, such as fasting on the night before testing, taking a specific medication, or temporarily stopping medications to ensure they don’t interfere with results **REQUIREMENTS** **EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE** + High School diploma or equivalent is **required** + **Surgery Scheduling experience strongly preferred** + Six - twelve months of appointment scheduling experience in a healthcare setting is **preferred** + Basic understanding of medical terminology **Company:** NTO Physician Partners PLLC **Job Type:** Full-time **Address:** 4501 Heritage Trace Parkway, Fort Worth, TX, 76244
