Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech **Position Summary:** We are searching for the best talent for **Surgery, Sales Director Center-North of Italy** who will be responsible for leading and delivering P&L accountabilities across Surgery business units in Center North of Italy. The Sales Director ensures effective implementation and execution of policies to create a Long-Term growth trajectory by co-shaping the MedTech industry environment and access-for-innovation agenda. The Sales Director leads a team of 60+ FTE commercial organization + 10 agents and 2 distributors, driving strong People Development, fostering Inclusion and building strong new capabilities to succeed in the future MedTech environment. **Role’s duties:** + Lead the design and implementation of the local Surgery strategy in collaboration with Surgery LT in the center North of Italy. Execute in the marketplace by ensuring successful product launches, supported by the right resource allocations of skills, capabilities, and talent, to deliver against targets to optimize growth and win marketplace advantage. + Shape the external environment by developing deep customer and competitor insights & relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. Leverage market insights to create new commercial models and innovative solutions that optimize stakeholder value and drive growth. + Oversee the multi layer procurement model with direct responsibilities for National and Regional tenders and overview of local/hospital ones. Also direct responsibility of contracting with largest Italian Private Strategic accounts + Develop a robust pipeline of diverse leaders with skills to succeed in a complex and dynamic marketplace and champion initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace environment and highly engaged workforce. + Active membership of the Surgery LT to create a high performing, agile and customer-focused, outcome-oriented organization + Ensure Health Care Compliance and integrity principles are championed and actively practiced at every level of the organization **Qualifications and requirements:** + BBA in e.g. Economics, Finance, Medical or Scientific Fields + Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience with continuous & proven track record of success in the Healthcare Industry + Experienced sales and marketing leader with demonstrated skill in delivering on all aspects of a P&L (sales, operating expense, net income). Strong business and financial acumen and strategic mindset. Track record of leading large organizations to transform, while achieving results (top line and bottom line) in challenging and complex business environments (not just in growing markets). + Experience in end-to-end leadership, leading across multiple functions to drive a growth agenda. + Excellent at building and maintaining relations. + Proven self-starter with strong initiative, enthusiasm for details, and result orientation. + Speed and proactivity. Quickly address issues and opportunities. + Well structured, focused & setting clear priorities. + Fluent in Italian and English with excellent written and oral communication skills. + Knowledge of socio-economic environment and market dynamics, and strong customer and external environment orientation.
