Job Summary: The Surgery Technician I is responsible for setting up the operating room for each surgery. This is accomplished by checking and providing needed supplies and necessary equipment depending on the type of surgery that will be performed. This is an OSHA Category I.
May perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. BLS; Knowledge of theory/techniques/practices of surgical intervention, as they relate to the “scrub” role. Able to scrub on a variety of specialty cases. Knowledge of AORN standards/practices for perioperative nursing.

Salary range: $28.56 - $40.19 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
