High focus on safety and quality in assigned area and processes.Incorporate Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) with existing and new process development.Define and control production process including tooling, equipment, and training.Document and validate process changes within guidelines of the Quality Management System.Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.Train to become a CA in peening, fatigue and isotropic superfinish tumble processes.Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.Support multiple internal customers simultaneously while balancing the demands of the business. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the business.Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing & Production Process and Equipment) PLUS a minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing & Production Process and EquipmentDesired Characteristics
