About Brucejack

Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

Purpose

As a Surface Dispatch, you will play a key role in coordinating aviation and surface fleet operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure smooth logistics, accurate scheduling, and compliance with Newmont’s high safety standards.

Essential Duties Monitor and manage aviation dispatch and flight operationsOversee Pitram and surface fleet equipment managementMaintain accurate flight records and troubleshoot scheduling issuesAudit and manage site Aviation Management Program and SOP documentationGenerate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for operationsManage data entry for KPIs, training schedules, and operator training matricesSupport onboarding of new hires and contractors through AvettaAssist departments with administrative duties and monitor multiple email accountsTraining & Experience 1-2 years of experience in aviation management, fleet management, or air traffic controlExperience in working in remote locations or campIncident Management Training and ROC-A (Restricted Operator Certificate) - have or are willing to pursue.Ability to read and communicate coordinates via radio using the phonetic alphabetProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe AcrobatExperience with JD Edwards and SAPStrong understanding of workplace safety proceduresExceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skillsWorking Conditions Remote camp setting with accommodations providedRotational schedule: 13 days on / 13 days off / 2 days on / 12 days offWork in close quarters with a team in extreme weather conditionsPre-employment medical screening and drug testing required
 

We are now recruiting for the position of Surface Dispatch with a competitive annual base salary of $77,600 - 97,000 plus incentives. The expected salary range for this role is CA$77,600-97,000 . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia.
