Support Workers Supervised Contact Workers Thursday 9 April 2015 Support WorkersSupervised Contact Workers are needed to provide direct practical support to Foster Carers and children who have disabilities. The work includes helping the child to access activities, child sitting or accompanying the foster carer to child appointments. It could also be supervising contact between the child and their family. The range of tasks is diverse and you should be prepared to provide personal care too. Along with compiling good written recordings, there will be a requirement to contribute to reports to looked after child care reviews, attend case conferences and other professional meetings as appropriate. Good written skills are therefore essential. You will be required to work in accordance with Credo Cares policies, procedures and ethos. You need to be a car driver for which you will receive a car allowance 45p per mile if we do not have a pool car available. The rate of pay is 8.00 up to 9 per hour dependent upon the childs needs and the Support WorkersSupervised Contact workers skills. Hours will agreed on a flexible basis.
