Job Title: Support Team Leader - Supported Living
Location: Lincoln
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week (off rota), with occasional rota cover and sleep-ins in emergencies

Job Summary

I am seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Team Leader to oversee a supported living service in Lincoln. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about person-centred care and has proven leadership experience within adult social care. You will lead a well-established team supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs, ensuring high standards of care and compliance.

About the Service

The service consists of supported living flats for 10 individuals with varying levels of need - from full support including sleep-ins to minimal, independence-focused support. You will manage a team of 16 staff members and work alongside an assistant manager. The team is experienced, collaborative, and thrives under strong leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead monthly support sessions and team meetingsManage recruitment, interviewing, and on-boardingOversee staff rotas, annual leave, and training plansConduct monthly audits (medical, financial, environmental)Coach and role model best practice in support deliveryEnsure compliance with regulatory standardsPromote active, meaningful lives for the people we supportMaintain relationships with families and external professionalsReport safeguarding concerns and incidents appropriatelyWork collaboratively with the East Midlands District teamAttend training as required (may include overnight stays)

Requirements

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, working towards or willing to secure this.Proven experience in leading teams within adult social careStrong understanding of person-centred support and complianceAbility to lead, motivate, and develop staffCar owner/driver preferred due to travel requirements across the service and for training purposes.Willingness to cover rota and sleep-ins in emergencies
