Support Services Specialist - Certification

Join our dynamic Engineering team as a Certification Support Services Specialist, where you'll play a key role in supporting product safety and compliance. In this position, you'll manage essential non-certification engineering projects—such as corrections, transfers, and file reinstatements—ensuring they are completed accurately and on time. You'll also be the go-to expert for administrative support in FLEX and client reporting, helping drive the success of certification-related initiatives.

What You’ll Do
+ Lead Project Execution: Manage the lifecycle of non-certification engineering projects, from scope analysis to completion.
+ Support Certification Efforts: Assist engineers with certification-related tasks by handling administrative processes and preparing client reports.
+ Be the Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to clarify project scope, resolve issues, and exceed expectations.
+ Own the Process: Serve as the Project Handler of record, ensuring all documentation and systems are up to date.
+ Drive Continuous Improvement: Apply process improvement techniques to enhance efficiency and service quality.
+ Maintain Key Relationships: Manage special handling requirements and maintain strong client connections.
+ Stay Tech-Savvy: Use tools like FLEX, ECM, Workbench, and MS Office to manage projects and documentation.
What You Bring
+ High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year of relevant experience.
+ Basic understanding of UL services, policies, and procedures.
+ Strong organizational and communication skills.
+ Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ Advanced English skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
+ Willingness to learn new systems and tools.
