Support Representative II, Inventory Control

 

POSITION PROFILE

Performs a variety of advanced inventory related duties to support supply chain operations. Responsible for data entry and maintenance of records associated with inventory product movement.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Depending on the location and specific role assigned, the following are all or some of the assigned job duties:

�·         Assists in updating Oracle daily to track location, transfer and disposition of inventory, including relocations and RMAs. Investigates exception items as required.

�·         Performs cycle counting and location audits and investigates/resolves variances.

�·         Participates in the annual physical inventory (Include Prep, Audits, Count, and Reconcile).

�·         Manages reservations and movement of used/rental/loaner/promo units.

�·         Works to minimize aging and lost inventory.

�·         Process completed MRB items, which includes stock, system transfers/updates, and product consolidation.

�·         Monitors personal and department emails and provides information and other related issues.

�·         Manages Order on Demand process and transactions of Intangible Receipts

�·         Works with planning on inventory availability for internal req's, pass through, replacement of product and rush releases to the shop.

�·         Performs various duties in the wide-open pick and intermediate ship to (IST) processes and coordinates these activities with scheduling and shipping.

�·         Manages the requesting of booked swap orders and RMAs for damage claims process from receipt to disposition or restock of product.

�·         Processes RMAs or transfers associated with defective/cancelled/refused orders.

�·         Assists in management of damage claims process from receipt to scrap or restock of product.

�·         Monitors open orders to find opportunities to utilize existing on hand components and or assembled finished goods to fulfill orders through the Deconfiguration process.

�·         Supports review of the CC release and takes appropriate action on various categories of orders contained within it, including direct match/straight picks.

�·         Performs SOX compliance audits.

�·         Inventory Transactional Corrections �· due to receiving, shipping or WIP job issues, or serial number corrections.

�·         Plans cycle counting and location audits.

�·         Monitors and acts on systems reports as needed.

�·         Ensures inventory recordkeeping complies with document retention rules.

�·         Supports Lean/5S activities as assigned.

�·         Updates issues logs.

�·         Assists with training of new inventory control associates.

�·         Performs other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

�·         High school diploma or equivalent education.

�·         Minimum three years of inventory control experience.

�·         Ability to use advanced software tools (Oracle, Descartes)

�·         Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint.

Working Conditions, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

�·         Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level

�·         Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material, data and instruction �· prepare, provide and convey diversified information.

�·         Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, or carrying objects that typically with less than 50 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files, etc.) but could weigh significantly more (parts, complete copiers)

�·         Moderate dexterity �· regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, stapler)
