The Boeing Global Services organization is seeking a Support Multimedia Design Specialist – 1 or 2 - to join our team in Berkeley, MO or Fort Walton Beach, FL.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry or Experienced Support Multimedia Design Specialist (Multimedia Design).

The person selected for this position will create or revise basic isometric, orthographic, axonometric, and perspective illustrations, wiring diagrams, and schematics for military aircraft technical publications using 2D and 3D engineering source data and drawing markups.  They will ensure illustrations and graphics stay in compliance with applicable design specifications and quality standards.  This role will maintain configuration control and storage of technical illustrations and graphics for accessibility. Interfaces with stakeholders for basic clarification of input.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work on site at the selected facility at Berkeley, MO or Fort Walton Beach, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

Assist with creating and modifying illustrations, graphics, full color animations and interactive electronic media

Support research and analysis of source data or designs to inform illustration and graphics creation

Assist with creating, modifying, and maintaining illustration and graphics development standards, processes, and procedures for support engineering products and services

Maintain and store illustration and graphics for accessibility

Assist in reviewing and ensuring product compliance with applicable standards and specifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Minimum of 2 years' experience in Technical Illustrating / Drafting

Minimum of 2 years' experience using CAD Software:

Siemens NX11

Microsoft Office Suite

CATIA

Adobe Illustrator

AutoCAD 2022

IsoDraw 7.3

Wiring Illuminator X

Siemens TeamCenter

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with aerospace drafting or equivalent work scope

Experience with military or Department of Defense customers

Typical Education/ Experience:

Entry (Level 1):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.).

Experienced (Level 2):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
