The Azure Data Factory Support Analyst will be responsible for undertaking support, maintenance and development tasks on the ADF and DWH estate for a large NTT DATA client in the public sector. This role will lead the service, from taking transition of the estate from the current team to helping establish a fully fleshed out service.
The person playing this role will build working relationships with key client, incumbent and NTT DATA stakeholders, including other NTT DATA technical support and engineering teams.
The role will report into the Service Delivery Manager for the respective NTT DATA account along with being part of the Applications Management practice.
What you'll be doing: \tDevelop and maintain ADF and DWH solutions/applications\tPerform hands-on installation, development, configuration, and troubleshooting of solutions\tBuild/maintain efficient, reusable and reliable applications\tIdentify bugs and devise resolutions to these defects\tWork alongside to provide the client with quality solutions to complex problems\tWork across a varied technical stack What experience you'll bring: \tDevelopment & production support background with exposure to Data Warehousing at scale\tExperience developing & supporting ETL solutions in SQL Server: MS SQL, SSIS\tMS SQL Administration, Azure Data factory, Azure MSSQL, Azure Analysis Services\tPowerBI and Power Automate\tCode Review & Unit Testing, Source Control\tExposure to DW development practices (code & configuration management, build processes) \tAppreciation of design patterns and practices that apply to the data warehouse space (e.g. Data Modelling) \tAbility to take business requirements and work with other team members to estimate and design end-to-end solutions \tExcellent data analytical skills.\tPreferable ITIL certified, but at a minimum ITIL aware\tIn-depth experience in data warehousing concepts - ELT, Datamodelling techniques .\tFirst Line, Second Line and hands-on Operational Support experience (Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Fulfilment, etc.)\tDevelopment & production support of an enterprise DW environment in a large organization\tExperienced in debugging issues, finding the root cause, and applying fixes\tManage and maintain all aspects of ETL from development, bug fixing, batch job monitoring.\tAbility to clearly communicate complex solutions\tThe ability to design and advocate for technical solutions to business problems.\tStrong knowledge of SQL\tExperience with Git and Azure DevOps\tAbility to contribute to all aspects of a solution - design, infrastructure, development, testing and maintenance\tKnowledge on SharePoint application and Azure APIs will be an added advantage.\tTraining & Certification (desired):\t\t\tAzure Data Fundamentals DP900\t\tDesigning an Azure Data Solution DP201\t\tImplementing an Azure Data Solution DP200\t\tData Engineering on Microsoft Azure DP203\t\t\tConfident leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\tAbility to engage project and service stakeholders up to a senior level with confidence.\tEffective time management skills; with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously requiring experience with prioritizing tasks due to shifting priorities, fluctuating workloads, and deadline pressures.
