Summary You will serve as a Supply Technician (Hazmat) in the FRCSE of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. Responsibilities You will respond to customer requests for supply service and support. You will draft notices to communicate supply work discrepancies or policies. You will brief management on the status, updates, or other business information regarding supplies or material. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Understanding Hazmat Inventory Software such as HMMS and hazardous materials/hazardous waste regulatory requirements. Analyzing and identifying pertinent information from Hazmat labels, in order to instruct Mega Center personnel in the correct storage, safety precautions, shelf life etc., Having knowledge of the procurement process in order to understand accountability, regulations and the replenishment process. Conducting limited studies on the utilization of hazmat materials and present data and having oral and written communication skills to provide direct communication between FRCSE and contractors. Resolving hazmat materials supply program and/or inventory management issues.
