**About the role**
The role is focused on ensuring efficient material ordering and supply chain management, adhering to regulatory requirements, and maintaining clear communication with suppliers and internal departments. This includes managing import documentation, shipment schedules, and financial transactions related to material supply. The role also involves providing regular updates and addressing any delays or issues promptly.
**The Supply Services Officer will be a contractual position with a fixed-term contract under third-party payroll.**
**The ideal candidate will be majorly, but not exclusively, responsible for the following**
+ Coordinate material ordering in alignment with the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) schedule to ensure timely procurement.
+ Communicate purchase orders, letters of credits, and other relevant documentation to suppliers promptly to facilitate on-time shipments.
+ Ensure all import documentation complies with both internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
+ Liaise with clearing and forwarding (C&F) agents to ensure timely customs clearance and delivery of imported materials.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all import activities, including shipment tracking, documentation, and delivery timelines.
+ Prepare and manage regular reports on import status, highlighting any potential risks or delays.
+ Proactively escalate any shipment delays, documentation issues, or supply chain disruptions to relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, planning, and finance to ensure seamless import operations.
**The educational background and experience we're looking for**
+ Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from any UGC Approved/ Foreign University.
+ Freshers are encouraged to apply. However, candidates with maximum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain in an FMCG environment are also eligible to apply.
