PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To ensure best product availability, while minimizing distressed inventory costs and optimized inventory levels.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute replenishment of products from manufacturing sites and external vendors to maximize the level of service towards internal and external customersMonitor open orders and back orders and take corrective actionsReduce distressed inventory and report on results to FinanceParticipate in the S&OP process with Demand Planning, Marketing and FinanceMonitor portfolio changes and establish a proper phase in / phase out processMaintain end to end Supply Chain system updated in terms of master data and inventory targetsMaintaining the inventory targets and reviewing inventory levels at 3PLsAnalyze levels of inventory in the distribution center and in the field, provide feedback to Finance and submit appropriate forecastIdentify and deploy process improvements (continuous improvement) to increase the productivity or cost-efficiency without jeopardizing quality compliance and service level

EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES

University degree, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.Detailed knowledge of a major ERP system (SAP preferred)Proficient knowledge of excel, experience in reporting tools as Power BI is a strong assetFluent in English, written and spoken, other languages are an assetExperience with Lean tools and methodology is an assetTeam player and customer orientedStrong communication skills and presentation skillsFlexibility, including work time schedules and travel
