As Supply Planner, you will be responsible for US/Canadian master production scheduling & the management of finished goods, work in process, excess & obsolete inventory. This position is a key driver in ensuring adequate inventory is available to fulfill customer demand while minimizing inventory costs. The role is tasked with maintaining strong partnerships with manufacturing operations, plant schedulers, replenishment planners, and the demand & commercial team to manage stock levels, as well as using data insights to establish critical system parameters (ABC classification, Statistical / Safety Stock settings, BY planning configuration).
What you will do:
Business
From the S&OP demand plan, develop monthly supply plans by determining priorities and implementing strategies to avoid stockouts and excess inventory issues.Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure inventory is managed according to constraints and targets that are aligned with the business strategy.Maintain monthly supply plans based on demand forecasts and inventory targets, and communicate near-term changes vs S&OP plans to meet demand.At a minimum, an annual rate validation with plant managers is expected for alignment with commercial on annual sales targets based on available capacity.Identify and resolve any capacity issues to ensure the smooth flow of supply throughout the network.Analyze and report on KPI’s: Perfect Order, Delays, PSI/ Inventory, Utilization/Available capacity.Agility and Innovation
Use creative solutions to maximize capacity within the short to midterm supply planning horizon (0-12 months).Partnership and alignment with the Global Strategy team on long-term planning horizon regarding capacities (13-60 months).Review and analyze asset capacity to determine whether alternative sourcing is required.Identify possible future capacity constraints and bottlenecks.Measures supply plan adherence performance through analysis reports and recommends changes to improve and optimize throughput.Leverage new product introduction plans from new product innovation teams for integration into the S&OP planning system, BY (Blue Yonder).Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer serviceDevelop and maintain inventory planning parameters (ABC Classification, Safety stock settings, Sourcing) in conjunction with purchasing, planning, manufacturing, and commercial teams – including safety stocks, lead times, order quantities, campaign or production strategy, batch yields, production rates, and cycle times.Relationships and People
Communicate S&OP Supply Plans with supply chain stakeholders by leading monthly reviews.Lead weekly S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) calls: Partner with demand, operations, and logistics teams for updates regarding changes to rates, supply/demand, product availability, inventory, and/or logistics constraints.Communicate regarding lead-time changes, capacity constraints, downtime, and product availability.Collaborate with commercial, demand planning, operations, and logistics teams to optimize inventory, production plans, and shipments.What you will bring:
Bachelor's in supply chain management, operations, mathematics, and engineering.Work experience in a team-based environment within manufacturing or supply chain is desirable.Supply chain/operations certification a plus – such as APICS.Experience with Blue Yonder (BY) planning tool is a plus.Experience with SAP and its related supply chain applications.Who you are:

$81,680.00-$108,906.67 AnnualThis pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
