About the FunctionThe Diageo Supply Chain and Procurement organisation is responsible for all the liquid production, packaging and transportation of products within all regions. Over and above this covers all Supply related global roles including FP&A and CoE, most importantly Global Procurement roles as well. Finance business partner roles are at the heart of the Finance Operating Model, providing valuable guidance and support to the organization leading the performance agenda including delivery of all financial metrics whilst ensuring a robust control and risk management environment.
About the RolePurpose of the Role
o partner with the Africa Region’s business divisions and functions to drive business performance through the provision of procurement financial expertise and insights, whilst owning the delivery of the financial targets and an effective control environment.
Top Accountabilities
Support performance management and reporting, review of the targets and course correction where required (Africa - Workstreams -PPV Reporting, Procurement Monthly KPI Reporting on Inflation & Productivity, Marketing & Indirect inflation & reduction calculations …etc)
Partner to the senior stakeholders, building great relationships, supporting them with accurate and timely reporting, respond to adhoc requests to ensure robust strategic planning
Capability building across the finance and procurement community
Find opportunities to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness in finance processes, demonstrating standards, systems and data.
About You4-6 years strong experience in Financial Planning & Analysis and/or Financial Controlling and/or Accounting.
Proven track record to connect with stakeholders at varying levels and the ability to work with different market environments and cultures
Good accounting knowledge
Experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment is considered as an advantage.
Fluent English knowledge is a must.
