Job Description:

Mars Petcare- Columbus, OH is looking for a Supply Driver

Pay: $19.43/HR + $1.50/HR Shift Premium

Required Shift: 3rd

7:00pm-7:30am, following a 2x2x3 Shift PatternFlexible to weekends pending business needs$1.50/HR shift premium

Job Purpose:

The Supply Driver will ensure the appropriate materials are supplied to the assigned production areas and lines, will shrink-wrap any material to be stored or returned to the warehouse, and will check pallet tickets and loads for accuracy.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements

1+ years of forklift operating experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.Experience with material handling, loading/unloading, and inventory movement.Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes and working around heavy equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.).Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stoopingAbility to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipmentAbility to stand and / or work on feet for extended periodsAbility to work a flexible schedule as needed to support production needs and to conduct multi-task work in a very fast paced work environmentAbility to read, write and understand EnglishAble to handle hot and cold temperature environments  

Preferred Requirements:

Technical degree or certificationFork Lift certification3+ years experience operating a fork lift

What will be your Key Responsibilities?

Supply all areas with packaging and other supplies as required.Maintain inventory control through proper use of computer terminals and scanners.Communicate with various operators and the Production Administrative Coordinator concerning inventories.Assure that the sanitation levels for the area are properly maintained.Perform relief duties as needed in the area.Participate in area Visual Workplace and participate in the OHBA process.Any ad hoc requests
