Supply Demand Analyst


Job Description:

The Supply Demand Analyst is responsible for all the aspects of scheduling, forecasting, planning, inventory level management, and customer service levels related to the Supply Chain and to directly support OTD.  The Supply Demand Analyst supports the establishment and maintenance of key metrics and performance measurements and is involved with project management of key products, programs, and/or suppliers. This role will require inventory forecasting for all sites under Ormco. This position will report to the Materials Planning Manager. The position will be on-site full time in Pomona, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Review and monitor inventory levels between physical and system records.Analyze inventory turn over and adjusted stocking levelsTranslate customer requirements into manufacturing priorities and purchase requirements based on available inventory and manufacturing programsWork closely with Manufacturing, Materials Planning, and/or miscellaneous internal customers to align supply with demandCollaborate with Global Demand Planner and Master Scheduler on PSI and Level Load processes and monitor local forecastResponsible for planning systems line Kanban Quarterly updates, Plan for Every Part (PFEP) and Inventory Management at Gemba (IMAG)Manage Item Master control and maintenance of key attributes for assigned product familiesControls due dates and set priorities on productProvides organization with accurate information regarding product availability, delivery dates and possible problem areasIdentifies changes required to improve planning and distribution processes and sees them through to implementationWork cross functionally to lead efforts towards evaluating current state and altering the replenishment parameters to improve in stocks and / or reduce inventory investmentLeads process and cost improvement developments which meet and exceed the strategy setAccountable for driving Inventory turn performance, maintain action plans and improve OTD sustainment by driving root cause and counter measure analysis (PSP)Work with various teams to install and drive solid Daily Management (DM)Embrace mindset of continuous improvementComplies with ISO proceduresInterfaces with Purchasing Commodity Buyers/Managers, Planners, Process Engineers, Quality Assurance, Negotiation & Agreement specialist(s), various Finance/Accounting personnel, Operations/Production personnel, and Suppliers.Assists in establishing and monitoring Key Metrics and Reports.Actively supports other material team members in their daily tasksAny tasks or duties assigned by Manager.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Materials Management, Operations related field3+ years in a manufacturing environment (Planning, Purchasing, Operations, or Manufacturing)Good understanding of MRP (Materials Requirements Planning)Experience working with an ERP; Oracle is a plusProficient with Microsoft Office applications; proficient with MS Excel, Word, etc.)Knowledge about Supply Chain management

Preferred:

Strong disposition for process-oriented thinking with a mind for continuous improvement.Collaborative and teamwork-oriented approach to problem solving.Ability to analyze business process and present best fit solutions to management for continuous improvement.Knowledge of high performance business systems (lean background preferred)Strong communication skills both written and verbal.Demonstrated successful experience in Project Management and Inventory Control.High degree of joint accountability and ability to create and foster continuous improvement culture in department.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
