Job Summary

\n

The Supply Chain Services Tech I performs key supply distribution roles in Supply Chain Services and the facility. This person ensures consistent and accurate delivery of supplies to department areas. They engage in Perpetual Inventory maintenance and documentation. This person will perform other necessary Supply Chain Services distribution roles as assigned.

\n

Schedule

\n\nWill work primarily in College Station\nWill need to be able to cover Brenham as needed (possibly 1-2 days a month, potentially up to two weeks or more depending on staffing)\nWill be scheduled 2-4 weeks in advance\nWill work 5-25 days a month, depending on staff shortages\nWill need to be available for new hire training which takes place the first 2-3 weeks after hire (2-3 weeks in College Station and one week in Brenham)\nWe pay for travel when covering Brenham \nJanuary 31st and June 30th (or last working day of the month) are mandatory; all staff work for Physical Inventory, potentially can be more than 8 hours\n\n

Essential Functions of the Role

\n\nPerforms par replenishment functions in an efficient and timely way.\nPerforms consistent and timely delivery of products to facility departments.\nPerforms all replenishment and distribution processes within the Lawson System with accuracy and attention to detail.\nMaintains orderly and organized work area to help efficient processes and staff cross-training opportunities.\nMaintains ownership of supply par inventory volume trends and makes adjustments as directed by appropriate Supply Chain Supervisor/Manager/Director.\nChecks supplies for condition of products, correct catalog numbers, quantities, expiration dates, and sizes of items.\nEnters par replenishment information accurately in the Lawson System. Processes and resolves all necessary Lawson Issues/Returns accurately.\nEnsures accurate tracking of supply data such as back-orders, manufacturer numbers, expiration dates, product recalls, lot numbers, etc. as needed.\nEngages in problem-solving to ensure accurate inventory Quantities-on-Hand. Performs inventory cycle counts and ensures accurate Quantities-on-Hand in replenishment areas.\nPerforms all necessary patient-charging functions as instructed by SCS Supervisor/Manager/Director.\n\n

Key Success Factors

\n\nBasic communication skills.\nBasic PC and math skills.\nAbility to operate handling equipment including hand-trucks, pickers, pallet jacks, and other powered warehouse equipment.\n6 months relevant experience.\n\n

QUALIFICATIONS

\n\nEDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent\nEXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience\n
