**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Costa Rica – Alajuela location in the EP Division. In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
As the **Supply Chain Supervisor I** , you will provide leadership to the Supply Chain Operational Areas, coordinate inventory management, warehouse operations, and shared services areas. This position requires knowledge in inventory management, human resources/people skills, and quality systems. Ensure safety and quality is the main purpose of the role.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Leads and supervises the Supply Chain Operational teams, in one or multiple areas such as material handling, Warehouse, Logistics, Shared Service Areas.
+ Hire, train, develop and supervise employees.
+ Execute cross training plan and execute common tasks to maintain business needs.
+ Prepare and submit inventory control reports.
+ Build positive, outgoing relations to link with local departments.
+ Responsible to review personnel scheduling, evaluating discipline.
+ Execute, review, and audit report benefits/tasks (vacations, audiences & Kronos).
**Required Qualifications**
+ Advanced student of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, administration, logistics, international trade or related with at least 50% of all courses approved.
+ 1-2 years of experience in similar roles.
+ Experience leading teams.
+ Computer literate (Ms Office).
+ Intermediate command of English language.
**Shift C** (Monday to Friday 10:00 pm to 6:00 am)
Works **100% on site** .
