Mission Details

JOB SUMMARY:

The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules and demand forecasts for the plant’s continuous production line to ensure optimal inventory levels, efficient production processes, and timely delivery of products to end customers.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a production & demand planning background. The person is responsible for developing accurate demand forecast to supply chain planning, inventory management and sales strategies. This role collaborates cross functionally with production, sales, finance and logistics teams to align supply with demand.

Required Profile

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Planning

Maintain detailed production schedules in SAP for big bags & bulk liquids, Coordinate with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of inventory to supply to sales/ transfer orders, Work closely with site logistics to send in containers & isotanks to the plant for loading, Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays or changes in demand, Optimize production efficiency while minimizing costs and waste.

Demand Planning

Review customer forecasts to develop accurate demand plans, Collaborate with sales, and commercial teams to gather inputs for demand forecasting, Follow-through order to cash flow to ensure said orders are placed, arranged and delivered timely (i.e. Order entry, material availability, logistics status & booking to delivery & invoicing), Lead in monthly forecast review meetings to align stakeholders on supply plans and forecast assumptions, Generate forecast accuracy reports and dashboards to communicate forecast performance and key metrics (KPI).

Tolling

Coordinate production schedules with tolling partner, Follow-through order to cash flow to ensure sales orders are placed, arranged and delivered timely, Monitor inventory levels and raw material shipments, Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, Track and report on production KPIs and costs, Resolve operational issues with tolling partners, Maintain accurate documentation and contracts.

Inventory Management

Monitor inventories including external storages, Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand without overstocking, Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend actions, Support inventory reconciliation and stock counting processes,

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field, 3+ years’ experience in production planning, demand forecasting or supply chain management, Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and familiarity with demand planning tools (e.g. Excel, forecasting tools), Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Thrives in high-pressure, fast-paced environments requiring quick decision-making and adaptability.

OTHER QUALIFICAITONS

IMDG code, FTA / MCS, APICS certification is a plus
