Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our client's team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position within the manufacturing industry, offering an opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the seamless management of supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in logistics, inventory management, and procurement processes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee supply chain operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
• Manage inventory levels, including tracking and analyzing stock to optimize usage and availability.
• Coordinate sourcing activities to identify and secure reliable suppliers for materials and products.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Conduct annual and periodic inventory assessments to verify stock levels and asset management.
• Analyze supply chain performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline logistics processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all supply chain activities.
• Develop strategies to mitigate risks in procurement and inventory processes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for supply chain activities.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of inventory analysis and tracking techniques.
• Proficiency in sourcing and procurement processes.
• Familiarity with preparing and managing purchase orders.
• Ability to conduct annual inventory assessments and asset tracking.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to analyze complex data.
• Experience with supply chain performance metrics and improvement strategies.
