Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our client's team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This is a long-term contract position within the manufacturing industry, offering an opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the seamless management of supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in logistics, inventory management, and procurement processes. Responsibilities: • Oversee supply chain operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services. • Manage inventory levels, including tracking and analyzing stock to optimize usage and availability. • Coordinate sourcing activities to identify and secure reliable suppliers for materials and products. • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Conduct annual and periodic inventory assessments to verify stock levels and asset management. • Analyze supply chain performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline logistics processes. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all supply chain activities. • Develop strategies to mitigate risks in procurement and inventory processes. • Maintain accurate records and documentation for supply chain activities. *Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment.
