Supply Chain Specialist

What will you do:
Maintain and renew planning data and parameters in ERP systems (including: BOM, Material Master data, routing, and work centre) and ensure that standard work processes are strictly adhered to
Ensure that production in the firm period meets agreed customer demands
In alignment with Production schedule, oversee customer sales order execution. Escalate any issues to Master Supply Planner and Planning Lead
Ensure that IPT Tier visual systems reflect required accurate information as specified
Manage purchase and delivery of raw materials from existing vendors and act as point of contact for vendor and IPT for issues associated with raw materials and vendor performance (quality and delivery)
Maintain and update supply metrics related to IPT Tiers (e.g SA, iOTIF)
Maintain the necessary documentation, SOP, JA, BP related to Scheduling & Buying processes
Focus on self-development and daily continuous improvement
Assist in getting information necessary for APR, Audits, from SCM perspective
Assist with IPT related investigations related to materials and planning systems. Ensure that investigations are thoroughly completed on time without impact to customer deliveries
Monitor inventory performance to plan against targets set by Master Supply Planner, including IQV and recert of intermediate materials and raw materials
Purchase goods and services for the site, including: packing material, raw material, intermediates, and solvents
Coordinate with vendors and freight forwarders with shipping documentation and delivery of purchased material, support the D&L Warehouse Team as and when required
Participate in IPT tier meetings – T2 daily, weekly production planning meeting. Lead meetings as and when required
What you should have:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Production Control, Planning or Procurement/Buying
Preferred experience in Manufacturing; Managing with multiple planning (ERP) systems and interfaces; Metrics reporting environment; Knowledge of Quality systems, cGMP, and regulatory inspections
MPS/LEAN operational excellence experience is highly preferred
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and adapt to rapidly changing business conditions.
Excellent attention to detail.
Keen driver for process improvement.
