SUMMARY
The Senior Supply Chain Manager will serve as the primary leadership interface between Jabil and Harbinger, ensuring clear communication, alignment of priorities, and seamless collaboration between both organizations. This individual will lead and develop the purchasing and inventory management teams within the Vallejo, CA facility, ensuring accurate demand planning, optimized inventory levels, and the timely procurement of critical materials to support modular home builds.
Additionally, this role will drive supplier performance, implement cost-reduction initiatives, and streamline sourcing strategies for key construction components, directly improving efficiency and EBITDA performance. The Senior Supply Chain Manager will also play a pivotal role in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and project management, ensuring that supply chain strategies support both immediate production needs and long-term growth objectives.
This position is critical to Harbinger’s success. By providing high-level leadership, operational oversight, and a strategic vision for supply chain excellence, the Senior Supply Chain Manager will enable Jabil and Harbinger to meet customer commitments, reduce costs, and scale effectively to support future demand.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Supply Chain Team Guidance: · Provide market cost guidance on key architectural components during the RFQ process · Identify competitive functional alternatives during the architectural definition stages of the project · Work closely with Director or Product Architecture to match Jabil and customer road maps to supplier road maps Communication: · Provide a periodic communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information with the supply chain team. · Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style.
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Segment Strategy and Direction:
· Analyze the market segment needs, develop an appropriate supply chain strategy, and recommend a course of action to the appropriate Corporate Commodity Managers (CCM)
·Compare the segment supply chain strategy and development needs to the current Jabil strategic supply base. Then identify the supply chain weaknesses and establish a plan of action
· Identify potential Jabil strategic design partners and foster close relationships at all levels of the organizations Cost Management:
· Define, develop and make effective use of cost analysis tools. · Develop and provide market based intelligence to the team for the appropriate segment
· Lead key negotiations for core system blocks within each RFQ or awarded development program
· Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and advanced supply chain optimization programs such as supplier-owned inventory, Just-in-Time delivery schedules, reduced lead times and cancellation terms, return privileges, and EDI/SIS demand communication with key suppliers falling outside JABIL’S strategic supplier base.
TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management · Work in concert with Supply Chain Project Managers (SCPM) on assigned programs · Assist in executing the RFQ as appropriate for the program · In collaboration with Commodity Management, lead the effort to obtain full commodity and sourcing control of BOM and AVL in the design phase. · Execute Jabil’s Early Supplier Involvement program. Customer Service and Business Development · Become the Jabil supply chain expert as it relates to the particular market segment and strategy · Work closely with the Director of Systems Architecture to develop new design opportunities with new and existing customers · Anticipate and meet/exceed customer expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively. Make program and customer service issues the top priority. · Represent Jabil’s materials team in a professional manner during program meetings, audits, presentations and conference calls. · Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor. · Comply and follow all procedures within the company security and ethics policies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelor’s degree required in Electrical Engineering or technical discipline.
+ Prefer 8+ years of supply chain related experience at an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in the appropriate market segment with design and product launch
* Domestic and international travel is required (up to 50%)
The pay range for this role is $112,900 - $203,300. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: September 30, 2025.
