Supply Chain Senior Fleet Manager - Automation and Technology

PepsiCo, a leader in the food and beverage industry, has an opening for a Fleet Sr. Manager to support the development and execution of Fleet Strategies. The candidate must have superb organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Must have sound judgment, strong multitasking abilities and the motivation and drive to help the Fleet Team reach its World Class Fleet goals. Partner with functional leaders, facilitate communication, provide business case in support of equipment strategy and partner with equipment manufactures and peer companies on technology developments to drive productivity, safety, efficiency and emissions reductions. Partner with Fleet, Sales, Transformation, Warehouse, Safety, Delivery and Transport teams to develop and deliver cross functional innovative solutions that improve efficiency, safety, reliability, productivity, and enable sales system growth. Partner with Transformation teams to lead the development of automation, innovative systems, and technology providing product movement at Distribution Centers, Product Exchange Centers, and out to our customers. Industry Technical Leadership - partner with suppliers and manufacturers to innovate, develop, and implement automation and other new technologies for warehouse and fleet operations. Program Management and cost control – effectively manage pilots and other innovation programs delivering timely results in a cost-effective manner. Equipment Specifications and Builds - responsible for advanced fleet equipment specifications and new equipment builds to achieve operational requirements, life cycle, cost, safety, and efficiency targets. Become involved in the industry: Peer fleets, professional organizations, gov't and non-government organizations, trade associations, and academia to align with industry and bring outside ideas in. Responsibilities Leadership capability - demonstrated cross-functional leadership and collaboration to solve problems, managing internal and external stakeholders. Experience in managing innovation and transformational deployments. Experience in automation and robotic. Experience in systems integration. Experience in vehicle design, systems and components. Experience in vehicle telematics, connectivity and data systems. Ability to evaluate & optimize technical solutions for desired financial & business impact. Ability to clearly communicate and win support of ideas and plans to all levels of the organization, both written and verbally. Critical thinking, strong analytical skills and data-based approach to decision making. Ability to travel to field locations and suppliers (up to 50%). Ability to lead meetings of various sizes with varied constituents and present/speak effectively. 10+ years of experience and track record of business results, project management capability, and teamwork. Ability to integrate into the PepsiCo Fleet Team and contribute to people and organizational development. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $118,700 - $198,800. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications 15+ years’ experience in a technical role. Degree: BS degree in Engineering, MBA preferred. PMP and Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred. Knowledge and familiarity with project management and cost control concepts and practice. Knowledge and familiarity with product development cycles, testing and validation, and manufacturing concepts and practice. Knowledge of fleet and automotive industry, technology and operation. Understanding and demonstration of PepsiCo values and culture.
