Our strength in healthcare innovation empowers us to build a world where complex diseases are prevented, treated, and cured, where treatments are smarter and less invasive, and solutions are personal. Through our expertise in Innovative Medicine and MedTech, we are uniquely positioned to innovate across the full spectrum of healthcare solutions today to deliver the breakthroughs of tomorrow, and profoundly impact health for humanity. Learn more at https://www.jnj.com **Job Function:** Finance **Job Sub** **Function:** Accounting **Job Category:** Professional **All Job Posting Locations:** Prague, Czechia **Job Description:** **Responsibilities & Accountabilities** + Responsible Inventory & COGS accounting and related compliance controls. + Independent ownership of month-end closing activities for country in scope. + Solid understanding of inter-departmental and cross-team dependencies. + Accuracy of all entries and Reconciliations in accordance with GAAP, Compliance, Internal Audit and SOX requirements. + Responsible for a number of inventory accounting processes, working closely with the local teams as needed to ensure accurate and timely completion + Build a strong awareness of the local business by investing time in understanding the P&L and building relationships with local teams. + Prepare monthly and quarterly account reconciliations of all related Inventory accounts. + Perform ongoing investigation and **effective** resolution of accounting and technical errors. + Show a solid **understanding** of GFS internal structure and systems. + Demonstrate an **active ownership** of Inventory activities for assigned company code(s). + Manage ad hoc one-time requests. + **Identify** root causes of repeating issues and **suggest & coordinate** solution + **Prepare** monthly inventory overview reports for local finance teams. + Contribute to monthly **closing activities.** + **Support** on ongoing projects (global and team level). + Drive **continuous improvement** in the team. + **Maintain** and regularly update working instructions and standard operational procedures. **Qualifications/Skills/Experience** + Bachelor degree or other equivalent + Working experience in finance / accounting / supply chain field (2-3 years) + Proficient level of spoken and written English + Strong MS Office skills mainly Excel + Organized – good time management & able to set priorities + Very good team player, assertive and result oriented **Advantages:** + Master in Finance / IT + Advanced analytical skills + Experience working in Shared Service Center + Experience with SAP, VBA, SQL, Power BI, Alteryx tools + Financial & accounting background
