Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and analytical Local Supply Chain Scheduler to join our Supply Chain team. This role plays a crucial part in short- and mid-term production and material planning, ensuring product availability and seamless flow of materials in a manufacturing environment. 
 
You will be the central link between production, purchasing, logistics, and planning, with a direct impact on service levels, inventory optimization, and customer satisfaction. 

Job Model: Hybrid - 2 days on-site per week

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production & Material Planning 

Create and manage production schedules aligned with capacity and customer needs Ensure material availability and manage procurement signals in SAP Monitor risks and initiate escalations in case of material shortages 

 

2. Cross-functional Coordination 

Align closely with Production, Logistics, Purchasing, and Quality teams Act as a key escalation point for scheduling issues Proactively communicate changes and risks related to deliveries 

 

3. Data & Process Management 

Maintain accurate planning data in SAP Analyze KPIs (e.g., delivery performance, inventory turnover) Adjust planning parameters and support automation projects 

 

4. Continuous Improvement 

Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements Support initiatives for digitalization in planning Help balance inventory levels with service level targets 

 

Qualifications

Education & Experience 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or similar 10+ years of experience in supply chain or production planning in manufacturing 

Skills & Competencies 

SAP (planning modules) Strong planning and organizational skills Problem-solving mindset Basic knowledge of industrial risk management, project management Experience with continuous improvement (Kaizen)

Language:

English or German - Fluent
