Job Requirements
Job Description   : Repair & Overhaul of Inventory(ROI) – Casting/Forging & Hog Out components. 
Objective   : Analyze form, fit, and function: Perform a detailed analysis of the physical and functional characteristics of parts across different product lines or models. Look for parts with similar dimensions, interfaces, and performance specifications that might be interchangeable with minor modifications.Explore material interchangeability: If possible, identify opportunities to use parts made from alternative materials with equivalent performance to satisfy demand for similar products.Create a part interchangeability matrix: Develop a comprehensive database or system that documents which parts can be substituted for others, along with any necessary rework steps or limitations.
Key Responsibilities :To develop clear, concise, and comprehensive RFQ documents that accurately reflect organizational or client needs, adhering to compliance standards and best practices.Should be able to compare 2Ddrawing for required data on similar part/part revision/repair procedure etc.Manage the RFQ process from initiation to completion, including issuing RFQs, tracking responses, and facilitating communications between the organization and potential suppliers/clients.Collaborate with planner and buyers to ensure the demand for the parts that can be utilized.Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, develop strong relationships, and negotiate contracts to secure pricing.By analyzing drawings, need to identify parts that meet specifications and quality standards.Oversee and manage offshore procurement programs, including importing procedures and shipping schedules.Support development and implementation of inventory optimization tools,  dashboards.Background in supply chain, manufacturing, or materials management. Analytical skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP), Teamcentre (PLM) & NX.Knowledge of castings, forgings, and other standard raw material specifications is preferred.    
Skills & Qualifications:Strong documentation skills RFQ preparation, PO creation Strong with MS Office software mostly PPTs, word, and Excel.Experience with drawings review and Experience with SAP is a positive, ability to research and manage project individually with minimal supportCross-functional collaboration and project management.
