What You’ll do:

 As a Supply Chain Planning Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving sustainability and efficiency of our supply chain planning team.  You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life.

 

What We’re Looking For:

Primary Supply Planning Manager for a subset of the plants covered by the Texas Supply Chain Planning team Functional backup for the other Supply Chain Planning Manager of Texas Facilities and Toll-Plants Act as liaison with covered unit/plant functions, other (global) supply chain functions, Corporate Operations, and Sales Represent NA Supply Chain on global teams/initiatives relating to the supply chain Center of Excellence (COE) Lead and manage supply chain processes that drive key performance indicators while promoting a customer-focused and continuous improvement culture. Monitor key sales and operations planning performance indicators and coordinate cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives Manage inventory optimization and inventory control processes, including Non-Working Slow Moving (NWSM) inventory and inventory build for strategic supply Reduce exposure to supply chain risks through the recognition of trends, root cause analysis, and the implementation of preventive measures Recruit and develop talent for/in the Supply Chain Planning team Lead and supervise short, mid, and long-term activities such as production scheduling, production planning, the answering of orders, shutdown planning, assigning scheduling areas, training backups, etc. Determine departmental goals for operational excellence and continuous improvement; lead projects/initiatives/change efforts to accomplish these goals Approve time cards and manage vacation schedule for personnel in your group

 

Skills That Make a Difference:

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering, supply chain, chemistry, business, etc.)  Minimum of five years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Plant Operations, or equivalent Two or more years of supervisory experience Demonstrated leadership capabilities, a positive attitude, and proactive approach to problem-solving Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment Ability to prioritize, multi-task, organize, and follow through in an ever-changing and fast paced environment Working knowledge of SAP at transactional level Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers Problem resolution capability with internal and external business partners to find appropriate resolutions and efficiencies 

 

Considered a Plus:

A Master’s degree in business or engineering Advanced knowledge in SAP planning functions  APICS certification Working knowledge of Kinaxis Rapid Response planning software Prior planning experience
