Supply Chain Planner - Tyvek® (M/F/D)

We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Planner (M/F/D) to support the Tyvek® activity.

Tyvek® is a flash-spun nonwoven fabric with leading global market positions in construction, protective apparel, medical packaging and others. The proprietary Tyvek® technology involves a wide variety of engineering disciplines, such as chemical, mechanical and electrical engineering, polymer chemistry & processing, polymer solutions, electrostatics, aerodynamics, material science and more.

Responsibilities

Define the raw material needs and issue regular forecast to suppliersIssue detailed schedule for each asset based on a final time-phased production plan.Manage daily production schedules during planning horizon.Assure schedule is continually maintained and communicated throughout the supply chain.Works with manufacturing to optimize the schedule along with manufacturing capabilities and customer needs.Prepare and actively participate to the regular meetings between Supply Chain, Customer Service and Sales.Communicate production issues, supply changes, deviations from plan and potential resolutions to appropriate parties.Highlight and actively participate in the identification and resolution of inventory, customer order issues, and quality issues as they develop.  Work closely with Master scheduler, Quality and Customer Service.Validate material availability against asset schedule.Prepare the list of shipments to go out by sea or train and coordinate with our logistics providerBack-up of the Master Scheduler during vacation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in business administration or (economic) engineering, ideally with a focus on supply chain / logistics or a comparable qualificationFluent / business level German or Luxembourgish & English is required, French is a plusHigh sense of responsibility and initiativeStress resistance, flexibilityOrganizational talent - precise work and independent time managementStrong communication skillsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsTeam spirit and the ability to work together in a networkExperienced handling of MS Office (Excel) products

Preferred:

First professional experience in a manufacturing company, ideally in the area of ​​SC / logisticsAPICS CPIM certification (may be obtained on the job),SAP / APO / BW (or equivalent) knowledge is an advantageSix Sigma Green Belt certification (may be obtained on the job)Certified Lean Practitioner (may be obtained on the job)
