The Position

General
The Customer Supply Manager in Shanghai will be responsible for managing the production and replenishment planning for Roche’s pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment towards the China market. You will oversee the production schedule at the Shanghai site and ensure packaging and replenishment plans meet market demand. Additionally, you will apply Roche’s centrally managed inventory concept and work closely with manufacturing, logistics, and your supply chain colleagues locally and globally to ensure product availability and alignment with customer requirements. You will be an active participant of the global CSM community where you will align on processes, ways of working and you will get support from the global network for any supply related issues impacting supply to the China market.


In this role, you will take ownership of the packaging plan, ensuring that it aligns with market needs and supports on-time, in-full order fulfillment to the China market. You will also drive cross-functional collaboration with senior stakeholders to review supply chain performance, identify root causes of issues, and define improvements to meet or exceed performance targets. As part of an agile organization, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of trust and collaboration while delivering on Roche’s global supply chain objectives.

Your general accountability is defined by the Roche corporate directives, guidelines, and operating principles, as well as by the company's core values and behaviors. In this particular role, you will be accountable to:

Deliver an executable supply plan for packaging and scheduling for the assigned asset(s)/CMO(s) and/or product(s) in China and ensure very close alignment and interaction with the site materials management organization.Perform reliable inventory management and replenishment planning to effectively meet demand and avoid obsolescence.Drive end-to-end trade-off analysis and decisions to allocate resources to the right priorities, accounting for potential demand changes and supply constraints.Determine the appropriate segmentation strategy, replenishment model, and planningparameters to meet market needs and improve operational productivity.Oversee the complete order fulfillment lifecycle to ensure efficient, timely, and complete delivery of products.Act as an expert or senior advisor for supply planning and operations to management and lead cross-functional improvement initiatives, governance bodies, and projects.

For this position, we are looking for someone with:

A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in supply chain.A BS degree in a relevant field and/or APICS certification (or equivalent).Strategy, finance, and business acumen training are a strong plus.Experience with ERP (SD/MM) and supply chain planning systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
