We are now looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join our team working for a better future. The position is Temporary for 14 months and the location is in Toronto, Canada. This role follows a hybrid work model, combining on-site collaboration with remote flexibility.
What you will be doing
Supply Chain Planner is responsible for the supply planning of the main equipment and materials for energy storage projects. The Supply Chain Planner works closely with Suppliers, Project Managers, Sales Engineers, S&OP Manager, Purchasing, and Logistics to ensure the timely and cost-effective availability of the projects according to the project master plan and the supplier capabilities.
As the Supply Chain Planner, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
• Creating and maintaining the supply plan for main equipment.
• Ensuring the availability and having continuous dialogue between planning team and main equipment suppliers.
• Participating in project planning meetings and monitoring the short-term demand - supply balance.
• Highlighting the risks and creating mitigation plans together with key stakeholders.
• Planning and coordinating the supply chain activities with new suppliers.
• Supporting monthly Sales & Operations Planning.
• Participating and being responsible of separately defined development tasks, such as process development, tools, reporting etc.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
• Some work experience in a similar supply chain role, preferably in an international environment.
• Relevant educational background; for example, Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Industrial Management.
• Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and dynamics.
• Strong communication skills and working fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• The ability to work independently and being able to adapt to changing environments and work processes.
