Supply Chain Planner

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated individual to work within the Health & Biosciences Global Supply Planning team. This position will operate within a global, team-based environment and requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. The role is located in the Manila office in the Philippines.

How You Will Contribute:

Execute short term supply / demand balance in line with longer term plan for certain warehouses whilst balancing competing priorities, optimizing inventory levels and dealing with variability in customer demand.Continually monitor open orders, production/quality/raw material issues that will impact the production plan so that changes can be implemented proactively to ensure supply reliability to the customer.Own order confirmation process for selected warehouses. Confirm orders according business guidance and make sure orders are shipped according to requests.Manage short term supply/demand disruptions and lead collaboration with customer service, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, 3rd party service providers and business partners to meet business obligations.Routinely check and track inventory quantity, slow moving or other inventory statuses.  Drive resolution in identifying solutions and disposition on inventories and taking action to implement those solutions.Proactively communicate, solve and respond with customer service, supply chain planner, marketing/commercial and supply chain operations regarding issues with product availability where service level will be affected, e.g. order will not ship on time. Facilitate regular scheduling meetings with stakeholders to ensure operating plan alignment.  Create and track metrics which indicate the performance of the execution of schedule against plan. Identify and implement improvement opportunities. Maintain & monitor key KPIs for assets (i.e. slow-moving & obsolete inventory, inventory, delivery to promise, etc.)

What You Will Need To Be Successful:

Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Business, Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience2-3 years of Supply Chain or Operations experienceDemonstrated knowledge of supply planning theory and stock managementStrong English and Local Language communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multi-functional- and cultural team environmentContinuous improvement mind setAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsSAP/APO/BW experience strongly preferredAPICS CPIM certification (or equivalent) desirable
