We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell V\-280 Future Long\-Range Assault Aircraft \(FLRAA\) part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift \(FVL\) modernization effort\. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, Bell's Autonomous Pod Transport \(APT\), and Bell's High\-Speed Vertical Take\-Off and Landing \(HSVTOL\) program, a next generation aircraft\. This position is onsite in Fort Worth, Texas\. **Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineering** The Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineering team is responsible for managing the supply base for Bell\. This includes both tactical and strategic efforts\. The tactical efforts are generally technical support for specific parts, assemblies, or programs at a supplier\. Strategic efforts are more general overall enterprise efforts not specifically related to any part, assembly, or program\. The overall mission is to ensure material availability in support of all Bell Assembly and Manufacturing facilities that meet quality and safety standards\. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes\. **What you'll be doing as a Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer** * Advise internal customers on supplier capabilities and capacities to assist with supplier selection\. * Review and provide producibility feedback for new designs\. * Identify, investigate, and resolve supplier related technical issues both at Bell and at suppliers\. * Identify and resolve capability gaps in Bell's supply base\. * Assess new supplier capability and readiness to provide materials to Bell\. * Review root cause corrective action for supplier material discrepancy submittals\. **Qualifications** **Skills You Bring To this Role** * Excellent communication skills are required\.
