As a Supply Chain Manager you will responsible for end-to-end material and production planning across all teams. You establish and guides advanced planning and procurement processes, ensures compliance with ISTO/TS16949 certifications, and advocates for inventory optimization. As a member of the Mexico Leadership Team, you will partner directly with business leaders, represents the supply chain function, oversees a portfolio and a team of 25 professionals.
You will report to SC Americas Director.
Key Responsibilities
Develop material requirements planning and production planning strategies for all plant teams.
Establish, document, and improve advanced planning and procurement processes to meet ISTO/TS16949 standards.
Lead the supply planning, production planning, and special projects teams.
Manage overall inventory performance—monitor levels, diagnose issues, and implement new planning models and sourcing options to optimize inventory.
Be a primary supply chain liaison to plant and corporate leadership; represent the function in Mexico Leadership Team meetings.
Collaborate with partners to lead localization projects and sourcing savings projects.
Manage Lean principles deployment and oversee APICS training and certification efforts within the team.
Lead the implementation of standard processes where it makes sense for the facility.Ensure that New product introductions (developments, transfers) and Build are correctly handled.
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years in progressive supply chain leadership roles, including material and production planning.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Administration.
Track record managing large inventory portfolios (≥ $50 million USD).
Expertise in MRP systems and advanced planning software.
Teams and lead process improvements.
APICS certifications.
Experience within automotive or heavy-manufacturing environments in Mexico.
Fluency in English.
