Description We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Lansing, Michigan. In this role, you will oversee and optimize supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. Responsibilities:
• Lead the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S& OP) process to ensure alignment across sales, planning, operations, and finance teams.
• Develop actionable S& OP plans that translate strategic goals into operational tasks.
• Oversee demand planning and supply balancing efforts, identifying risks, constraints, and opportunities for growth.
• Manage and mentor an S& OP Analyst to standardize practices and ensure consistency across business units.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational execution with overarching business needs.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory health, and capacity utilization.
• Support scenario planning, annual business reviews, and budgeting processes to drive informed decision-making.
• Ensure planning practices adhere to company policies, business objectives, and regulatory standards. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field is required; certifications showcasing attention to detail are preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in supply chain or operations planning, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead and optimize the S& OP process in a complex, global organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience using planning tools such as Power BI or similar.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change and foster collaboration in dynamic environments.
• Expertise in supply chain logistics, customer demand planning, and global supply chain management.
