Description
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance supply chain operations within our organization. This role involves crafting strategic plans, optimizing processes, and ensuring seamless collaboration across departments to drive efficiency and achieve business goals.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with organizational objectives and improve operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating favorable terms and monitoring performance metrics to ensure high-quality partnerships.
• Utilize forecasting tools to accurately predict demand and align production schedules with customer needs.
• Implement inventory control practices, including audits and cycle counting programs, to minimize stock discrepancies and optimize reorder processes.
• Oversee domestic and international logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Identify areas of inefficiency within supply chain processes and lead initiatives to implement continuous improvement methodologies.
• Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions or regulatory concerns, while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Analyze performance metrics to uncover opportunities for cost savings and operational enhancements, presenting actionable insights to leadership.
• Evaluate vendor capabilities to ensure alignment with production needs, quality standards, and financial objectives.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address supplier issues and support corrective actions to maintain high standards.
Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics.
• Proven expertise in inventory forecasting, controls, and optimization techniques.
• Strong understanding of global supply chain operations, including vendor management and logistics.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic supply chain plans that drive efficiency.
• Proficiency in data analysis and the use of metrics to support decision-making.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and their integration within supply chain systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and execute mitigation strategies.
