Supply Chain Manager

Job Description:

Lead quality, productivity, safety, and continuous environmental improvement of Supply Chain operations and Associates here within the team. This role is an active part of the Site’s Leadership Team (Staff).

What are we looking for?Education & Professional QualificationBachelor’s Degree required (Engineering, Business, Supply Chain; High School diploma requiredMaster’s Degree preferred (Engineering, Business, Supply Chain)Knowledge/Experience1-3 years experience in Purchasing, Operations and Supply-Chain logistics.Functional knowledge of the Financial/Accounting Software and the Computer Maintenance Management Systems, Electronic file manipulation, and a Solid understanding of inbound logistics procedures.What will be your key responsibilities?ENGAGEMENTCreate an engaging environment where Associates feel appreciated, valued and listened to.Ensure timely follow-through and follow up surrounding Associate escalations and to address any Associate relations concerns.SAFETYAll PPE must be worn in compliance with the OHSA/RC requirementsEnforce/Respect the safety rules and the internal policyStop any equipment / operative works / external company works if safety/environment protection/fire protection rules are brokenSupport & promote plant safety and health within Supply Chain departmentENVIRONMENTGuarantee and apply ISO (Environment), and all related working proceduresOwnership of environmental responsibilitiesQUALITY & FOOD SAFETYGuarantee and apply ISO 9001, 22000, Mars Standards, and all related working proceduresDevelop, implement and maintain the HACCP program in the departmentInsure GMP-GHP in the areas of ownershipUpdate Flowchart and Hazard Analysis in relevant areasMember of the Food safety team & Food DefenseAnalysis of results for verification activities, internal and external auditsManage non-conformities (dispositions), analyze for root causes and undertake correctives actionsManage in relation with Unit Logistic Director physical recall of Quality issues productsHUMAN RESOURCESTraining: attend any training program as scheduled by company management and train any designated person in the position. Likewise accountable to ensure direct associates have necessary trainings on time.Provide coaching and/or disciplinary action where it is deemed necessaryPrepare / Organize / Participate on plant visitsAssist Shift Manager to direct Supply Chain team workforce (Shipping)Confirm personnel planning (holidays / organization)Attribute Bonus / Annual interview / Manage for continuous improvementEvaluate and manage the training needs of the Supply Chain teamExecute program of personnel development and specific skills training in relation with RC P&O concepts like multi-skills programEstablish program & documents for trainingEstablish workforce training programsIdentify & report cross training needs & opportunities within the Flow department for optimizing the performancesParticipate in the recruitment of new associatesLeadership Team & RESPONSIBILITIESSupport Shift Managers for any Supply Chain operations within budgeted costs, productivity objectives and quality standards (supplying, planning, packaging and warehousing processes)Ultimate responsible for quality, food safety and janitorial activities within Packaging / Supply Chain departmentDevelop, implement and maintain the HACCP program in the Supply Chain departmentSupport any Supply Chain maintenance functions, within budgeted costs (Implement preventive plan, resolve breakdowns, implement first level maintenance…)Driver of any off-site warehouse leases and escalation point for maintenance related escalations.Prepare annual operating budgets and participate to the definition of the CAPEXManage designated investment projects (Budget, time table, external companies’ intervention…)Prepare, study, participate in the decision, manage and validate technical works and process revisions made internally or by external companies.
