Your role:
The primary role will be to build knowledge around US Import/Export regulations in the US as well as to understand Duty Drawback requisites and requirements to then implement programs based on CSML business model to positively impact our bottom line.Be responsible for delivering four (3) primary KPIs: optimize duty drawback success ratio, Process Improvement (Optimization/ Automation) and improve carriers performance focused on optimizing Duty Drawback cycle timeHighly analytical, be able to utilize digital platforms (i.e. ClickView, Alteryx, etc.) communicate well and good presentation skillsYou will play a crucial role in our comprehensive end-to-end Supply Chain Strategy. This position has accountability within our supply chain for the freight movement of goods from our suppliers to our world distribution center and local distribution center network and to our customers worldwideMaximize delivery performance across Import and Export transportation services by driving the creation and execution of strategies to improve Duty Drawback Success Ratio as well as business process productivity while improving business profitability and customer satisfactionEvaluating and maintaining a logistics network that meets the current and future needs of the organization by applying industry best practices with a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and scalabilityCreating operational plans and providing financial trends and input (i.e. Tariffs and Duty Drawback Credits) for budget discussions.Interface with key stakeholders in the transportation process including procurement, Export Customs and Control (ECC), and SCM Governance, to maintain policies/standards/procedures and rates with contractsDrive IT capabilities in own transport network as well as in the forwarders’ network to meet and exceed global standards. Understand and manage risks associated with import, export laws and FDA Regulations.
Your expertise:Candidate must be Entrepreneurial, be able to work in a Dynamic Environment, must be Organized, Determined, Motivated, Assertive and able to work in a Fast Paced EnvironmentIndustry knowledge of Customs Processes and transportation, including best practicesAnalytical Skills – must be able to handle large amounts of data, perform detailed analysis, be able to create and understand formulas & pivot tables, piece data from multiple sources, make decisions with scant data, and perform within Microsoft Excel, Alteryx, MS Power BI, etc. Must also be able to track cost savings and to explain calculations in detail to management and during any audit requirements
Skills:Bachelor’s degree in business, Transportation, Supply Chain or related fieldAdvanced degree in Business, Transportation, Supply Chain or related field preferred5+ years' experience logistics/transportationYou are analytical, as well as strategic thinking required; flexible, creative, process and service orientedYou can solve complex process problems creatively while keeping the "big picture" in mindYou are a strong decision-maker with exceptional time management and organizational skillsYou have very good presentation skills in the customer environment, and you show team orientation, communication skills, and customer orientationLanguage: Avdanced English is a must
