Role Summary
The Supply Planning & Logistics Analyst is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of finished goods through effective coordination with procurement, suppliers, and warehouse teams. This role plays a critical part in maintaining optimal inventory levels, managing supply risks, and supporting product launches while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate closely with procurement, supplier, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of finished goods.
Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock without overstocking or risking shortages.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations regarding chemical storage and transport.
Work with procurement to manage supplier lead times and MOQs to optimize inbound material flows.
Manage planning parameters in the ERP system including safety stock levels and MRP type.
Identify and mitigate supply risks, such as delays in chemical imports, packaging shortages, or plant downtime.
Generate weekly reports on supply status, inventory health, and service level KPIs.
Support new product launches and cleaning chemical formula changes by aligning material availability.
Collaborate with logistics to ensure timely dispatch of goods to customers and distributors.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in supply planning, logistics, or inventory management.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Understanding of chemical industry logistics and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Experience with MRP planning and inventory optimization techniques.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards related to chemical storage and transport.
