We invite you to apply for the position of Supply Chain Intern (Graduate) within the Howden MEA Projects Division, located in Midrand, where you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the MEA Projects business, including Supply Chain, Project Management, and Business Development, with the aim of joining the Supply Chain team. **_What Will You Do?_** + Spend extensive time with the Supply Chain department and other departments to understand the supply value chain for MEA Projects. + Understanding of the MEA Projects Multidisciplinary Execution Model. + Support Technical Buyers throughout the procurement process, including complex analysis, presentation development, and negotiations support. + Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in compliance with company policy to ensure a safe working environment. + Receives, investigates documents, and responds to all enquiries, including complex issues such as orders, vendors and customer returns, shipment status updates, and purchase order invoicing in accordance with procedures. + Ensure the Suppliers' BBBEE certificates are current to maximize the company's BEE status. + Compile and maintain the Supply Chain tender register for all RFQs issued to the market for contracts. + Input orders within the ERP system, modify existing orders, and communicate as needed to ensure internal data is accurate. + Expedite deliveries as per customer requirements and verify that orders are completed within the committed timeframe. + Assist in maintaining the vendor master file. **_Your Experience Should Be..._** + Grade 12/ Matric. + Supply Chain Management Degree. + Knowledge of the procurement process and supply chain management is essential. + Computer literate and proficient in MS Office and ERP System. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. + Good communication and interpersonal skills. + Self-discipline. + Good time management skills. + Positive attitude and keen to acquire practical experience in the field. + Valid driver’s license. **_Our Benefits Package..._** Howden provides a great benefits package in addition to an attractive salary.
