Job Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Industrial Engineer wanted in Moore, South Carolina to receive and analyze the incoming EDI as received, develop and distribute supply chain metrics and reports related to past due, in transit, on time delivery any additional as required; Work with the planning team to ensure that reports are distributed as required and are available; Develop and maintain supply chain concepts; Develop KPI’s measuring suppliers to the agreed supply chain concept, on time delivery, labeling, load patterns, release analysis, backlog reports etc.; Develop and support in the implementation of the warehouse management system; Develop continuous improvement actions based on data collected, weekly reviews for progress with planning and warehouse team; Create accurate delivery measurement KPI’s with correlation to PFEP and Warehouse Management; Identify potential supply chain constraints coordinating with planning group; Support planning parameter development in SAP with correlation to PFEP and warehouse setup; Support logistic 8D root cause analysis and communication with BMW; Update and responsible for BMW Kamaeleon system; and Provide additional support as required. Requires a Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and 12 months of related experience as an Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Engineering Intern. The related experience must include receiving and analyzing incoming EDI and develop and distribute supply chain metrics and reports related to past due, in transit, on time delivery any additional as required for automotive seating projects; developing and supporting implementation of the warehouse management system; supporting planning parameter development in SAP with correlation to PFEP and warehouse setup; and, supporting logistic 8D root cause analysis. 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; M-F, $95,000.00 per year.
