Supply Chain Coordinator
Description We are looking for a temporary supply chain assistant. Our Supply Chain Department is looking for a Temp that is strong administratively and is a quick learner who is eager to adapt to new programs. An accounting background is helpful. Assists with the efficient operation of the Logistics Department by providing administrative support coding/reconciling invoices and compiling reports and information necessary to help manage the equipment fleet. Essential Job Functions 1. Enters and processes equipment transactions. 2. Codes and processes vendor invoices for prompt payment. 3. Assists with entering purchase orders into the E1 system in a timely manner. 4. Generates existing logistics related reports using multiple software programs (E1, Insight, Excel). 5. Creates and develops Excel reports with charts and graphs using data imported from E1. 6. Assists with analyzing and forecasting equipment account costs and charges. 7. Responsible for setting up rate sheets for each piece of equipment and tracks rental equipment in the E1 system 8. Assists job sites with issues related to equipment and reports. 9. Coordinates payment of purchases with Accounts Payable. 10. Provides support to Logistics director and Equipment coordinators. 11. Works closely with other departments and job sites to accomplish corporate goals. 12. Works with the warehouse team to help with inventory tracking systems. Additional Job Functions 1. Performs other duties as requested. 2. Cross training of duties with others in Logistics. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Accounting and background preferable. • Strong attention to details. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the JD Edwards system • Understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Ability to accurately and proficiently enter and compile data. • Ability to organize and prioritize work. • Proficient communication skills, both written and oral. • Ability to keep department information confidential. • Honest and works with a sense of integrity and respect.
